Addie Harris
Addie is an Executive in Residence at 1955 Capital, where she is actively involved in incubating new ventures and supporting portfolio companies in achieving operational excellence. She has known Euan for over a decade and previously worked closely with him at Johnson & Johnson.
Addie brings more than two decades of experience as a founder and executive across medtech, medical devices, and robotics. She was the founder and CEO of Cardan Robotics, a surgical robotics company that, along with its sister company Mobius Imaging, was acquired by Stryker for up to $500 million in 2019.
Her prior roles include Global R&D Leader for Robotics at Johnson & Johnson, where she led the launch of the VELYS Robotic Surgical Solution. She has also served as CEO of Haventure SAS, a digital technology incubator, and currently sits on the boards of several U.S. and European startups.
Addie holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and an MS in Computer Science from Lincoln University in New Zealand, where she was a Fulbright Distinguished Fellow.
Outside of work, Addie enjoys hiking, skiing, and tennis.
